Our Story

We don't want to bore you with our stories about how we met or anything like that....

We married in Germany (Julias's home country) on December 14th, 2004.
Normally in Germany a Christian wedding ceremony would follow.
But because Jinghong is a Buddist we never planned anything like that.
Instead we wanted to celebrate a second "traditional Chinese" wedding. Which we did. :-)
On March 24th, 2005 we and Julia's parents and siblings came to China to stay with Jinghong's family.

  
 

Because of this unusual marriage we became some "tiny stars" in Jinghong's province - or at least in his hometown Qingtian.
A regional television program broadcasted a show about us!!
It's parted into 2 telecasts and is about 20 minutes long.
